October is Italian Heritage Month!

North Haven is celebrating Italian Heritage Month by sharing weekly announcements that educate our students about important cultural facts and traditions in Italy. There will be a large poster of Italy in the library that students can use to indicate where their ancestors are from to celebrate the Italian community within our schools. The TV monitors throughout the middle and high schools will display fun and interesting facts about Italy and Italian-Americans. Lastly, the Italian Club will be hosting Italian trivia during lunch waves where students can expand their knowledge of Italian language and culture and win a prize!
