Course Description
This is the webpage for Mr. Liftig's Algebra 1 L2 classes.
Most work, Keys, and Study guides will be posted on my google classroom account this year. Please see me or email me if you have trouble joining.
The topics we will be studying this year include:
Unit 1: Patterns
Unit 2: Linear Equations and Inequalities
Unit 3: Functions
Unit 4: Linear Functions
Unit 5: Scatter Plots and Trend Lines,
Unit 6: Systems of Linear Equation
Unit 7: Exponential Functions
Unit 8: Quadratic Functions and Equations
In addition we will work to develop skills for Mathematical Practice, which are essentially good Math habits. These important skills will be emphasized in this course and will continue to emphasized throughout all of your Math courses.
These are the Standards of Mathematical Practice, we will be looking at them more in class.
