As many of you know, February is Black History Month. In honor of this, the Diversity Team and HBCU Club will be welcoming Jeffrey Fletcher back to NHHS to speak to our juniors. Mr. Fletcher is the owner of the Ruby and Calvin Fletcher African American History Museum and has done a fantastic job teaching our students about black history over the past few years.
This event will occur on Thursday, March 26, during blocks 1, 2, and 3 in the Library. Juniors attending may need to miss one of their other classes to attend this event. We appreciate your flexibility and support since this is an invaluable experience for our students. Should there be a delay on that day, we will adjust accordingly, or move the event to a pre-scheduled snow date on March 5th or 6th.
If any staff members are free during 1A, 2A, or 3A, you are welcome to stop by the Library and join us to learn more about Black History Month! Thank you.
