Olga Arbulu - Spanish Teacher
Bienvenidos a todos,
I am a second-generation American who was raised speaking two languages at home.
It is my experience that knowing more than two languages promotes personal growth, supports professional success, and nurtures empathy.
I have been an educator at North Haven High School since 2008 and have worked with many colleagues and students in a variety of clubs and organizations throughout the years.
Inside the classroom, I believe it is important to create a learning environment where students feel safe to learn and are not afraid to make mistakes. I provide my students with an engaging learning environment that encourages peer collaboration, fosters independence, and builds opportunities for deep learning. It is my expectation that students be respectful to everyone in the class and be an active participant in their daily learning.
Outside of the classroom, I encourage all students to join a club as it is a great way to meet people with similar interests and get involved in our wonderful school community.
This year I will be teaching Span II L2, Spanish II L3, and Span IV L3.
Hasta pronto,
Sra. Arbulú
