Rebecca Podzikowski, SRBI Interventionist - Executive Functioning

I have been a teacher for more than 13 years and have had the pleasure of teaching in North Haven for the past 6 years. 

 

Currently, I am one of the two SRBI Executive Functioning Interventionists. SRBI or Scientific Research Based Instruction, nationally known as RTI (Response to Intervention), begins after a student is referred to the SRBI Committee for review and it is determined that a skill deficit may be present. Tier II and III of SRBI include creating target goals for improvement.

 

As an interventionist, I provide direct instruction regarding specific executive functioning skills, regularly monitor student progress, and assess student growth towards goals.
