Annaliese Sehulster, NCSP (School Psychologist for TLS)
Hello! My name is Annaliese Sehulster (Ms. Anna, Ms. S, or Ms. Sehulster to the students).
The 2024-2025 school year is my fourth with North Haven. I work with grade 6-12 students the TLS Program, split across the middle school and high school buildings. If you would like to contact me with any questions, I am happy to answer them by email.
I look forward to serving your school community again this year!
About Me!
I completed my undergraduate degree with a major in Psychology with minors in Spanish language and Cognitive Science at the University of Connecticut in 2015. I spent 3 years as the Chapter President of UConn's Best Buddies program. Go Huskies!
From there, I completed my Master's Degree and 6th Year Certificate in School Psychology at the University of Connecticut's Neag School of Education. During this time, I also gained experience working in the Center for Students with Disabilities, assisting with university-level accommodations. Within the course of my program, I was able to help conduct research surrounding Pre-K readiness and project-based classroom learning.
I spent my first three school years in the field completing evaluations and attending or running special education Planning and Placement Team meetings across multiple elementary schools in a district in Hartford County. Following discovering a love of counseling in my time working in summer school with the a self-contained social-emotional program, I made the switch to North Haven and have been very happy here.
My interests outside of school include reading books across a wide array of genres and topics, creating art, cooking, hanging out with my cat and dog, cheering on UConn's basketball teams, and exercising. I am originally from Stamford, but have made Hamden my home. Say hello if you see me out and about in town!
