Ms. Andrea Zullo-- Biology and Health Careers
Hello and Welcome!
While this is my first year at North Haven, I have 10 years of teaching experience in New Haven, where I've taught biology, chemistry, general science, and anatomy. I am also an adjunct at Southern Connecticut State University, where I received my MS in biology.
I am excited to join the wonderful science department here in North Haven, where I am currently teaching L1/L2 Biology and the Health Careers elective.
I wish you all the very best school year.
What are we doing in biology?
Students finished their second unit about biochemistry, photosynthesis, and cell respiration!
Currently, students are working through several games and labs that have them exploring the mechanisms that can cause evolution. Students survived on Bear Island and saw how natural selection, genetic drift, and more can influence populations.
