Please complete the Day 4 - Economics and Points of Diminishing Returns activity.  You may use the answer key as a guide.  The first example talks about simple economics but the other examples get into points of diminishing returns.  The point of diminishing returns are when the rate of the rate of an increase begins to slow down.  We found these when we did curve sketching (points of inflection).   Since the rate of the rate of increasing is slowing down, graphically the original function is switching from concave up to concave down.  It is calculated using the second derivative.
