CMEA Regionals/All-State

 

CMEA Southern Region and All State Festivals offer all students the chance to demonstrate individual ability in the form of an audition. Successful auditions will allow students to participate in festival ensembles, where students from the area come together to rehearse and perform in a concert for the community.

 

Students who are interested in performing in the Southern Region and All State Festival ensembles will need to register to audition. Only students who are accepted and participate in the Southern Region Festival may audition in the All State Festival.  

 

Auditions for the CMEA Southern Region Ensembles will take place in person in the fall of 2025.  Foran High School in Milford will be hosting the auditions on Saturday, November 22nd (snow date 11/23).  Middletown High School in Middletown will be hosting the festival on Friday, January 16 - Saturday, January 17 (snow date 1/23 - 1/24).  

 

Auditions for the CMEA All State festival will take place on Saturday, February 7th at North Haven High School (snow date 2/8/26).  These auditions are only available for students accepted into the Southern Regional Festival.  This year's All-State festival will be hosted at Connecticut Convention Center, and will take place March 26th - 28th, 2026.
