New Immunization Requirements:
The State of Connecticut Department of Public Health (CT DPH) has recently updated its immunization requirements for school entry. Students who are most affected by these new laws are those entering Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grade 7 in the 2012-13 school year. If your child needs any additional vaccinations for school, you will be notified in writing by the school nurse. Since all pediatric health care providers in CT have also been notified by the CT DPH, it is very likely that these new immunization requirements are already in progress.
