SRBI Math Intervention
Welcome Students, Parents, and Guardians,
I am excited to be part of the SRBI team and will be entering my fourth year as the Math Interventionist here at NHHS! I work closely with the teachers in the Math Department and believe our collaboration only supports individual students.
What is SRBI?
Student participation in the SRBI or Scientific Research Based Instruction Program, otherwise known nationally as RTI or Response to Intervention, begins after a student is referred to the SRBI Committee for review and it is determined that a skill deficit may be present. Tiers II & III of SRBI include creating target goals for improvement.
As the Math Interventionist, I am happy to provide direct and individualized instruction determined by my student's identified skill deficit. I monitor students' progress regularly, until the student is reassessed and it determined whether the target goal has been met and/or whether a new goal is needed. In class, students are able to review pertinent PSAT and SAT material with me to reinforce skills necessary to be successful with those tests.
